Their file browser just flat out won't let you browse to UNC network fileshares. You can type the path in, it just won't load them. Minor issue right? Nope, big issue. If you install the game for "Everyone" it puts all of the saved games in a directory under your My Documents folder. A lot of people use folder redirection to redirect My Documents to a file share (that way you get your my docs on any computer).
Every autosave goes into that directory and you can't load any of them.
Annoying as all hell considering that Firaxis went out of their way to use a non-standard file browser and write their own. Guys, stick to writing AI and Civ stuff. Leave the standard stuff to the Visual Studio wizards. Sheesh.
I'm hoping that if you install for just yourself and not "all users" that games are saved under the program's main directory. Otherwise, this game is going back based on principle.
Oh yeah, I have a 9800 Pro and it works fine.
