Enhanced User Interface v1.29i

Does anyone know if I can change the icon frame colors for the various attitudes that leaders have in the Notification Panel? The biggest issue I have is that the guarded and afraid attitudes are the same color, making it confusing at times.

Here's an example in the images.





The leaders on the top are afraid, but the one on the bottom is guarded. Is there a way to change the colors?
 
I don't have that problem because no one is ever afraid of me!:mischief:

But yes, you can change the colors - look for g_colorMajorCivApproach in notifications.lua. I had trouble distinguishing yellow and white so I made the yellow bolder and gave the white a blue-grey tint. Not sure if the problem was my monitor or my eyes.
 
Hi.
I have EUI, and I use the Touhou civs mods (pretty much all of them). However, something appears to be borked. When I start a game with said civs, I'm only able to move my units. I can't settle cities, can't have units fortify, etc. The actions window is just not there.

Could anyone help me out here?

I 'fixed' it by removing the unit panel folder from the EUI folder. Not optimal, but it works.
 
Just in case you ever wanted to join all the specialists spread out over several buildings into one box (or you even used one of my previous related mods), this is now available as a mod for EUI. So you can keep all the benefits of EUI in the City View screen, but add further convenience to handling the specialists and the focus of your city. Feel free to try it out and let me know what you think.

Hi guys, just want to ask a quick question. I deleted unitpanel from the files because i didn't like it much. But after that I noticed that sides of the screen are a little darker than other parts, I assume to make these new panels more distinct. This is also the case on the right side, where score and diplomacy is located. This little thing annoys me a lot lol. Also I deleted everything and vanilla version doesn't have dark borders. Maybe someone could help
 
Is there an easy way I could move the diplomacy list to the left hand side of the screen, I don't use unit or city lists.

I've just watched some early access civ 6 gameplays and i want to make a suggestion for the EUI. From what i can see civ 6 has leader heads like the EUI, but difference is it's below the top panel and horizontally listed, maybe that could be a thing in EUI that would have saved a lot of space in general ui and it will be much easier to play TSL 22-43 civ maps with the EUI.
 
Thx! The devs can take whatever they want from EUI for civ 6: I am a gamer, not a modder, so I would be very happy not to have to spend time tweaking the Civ 6 UI. The features touted for Civ 6 sound very promising, especially an AI that can actually play the game rather than roll a "flavored" dice!

I thought I ought to quote the last post from the developer of EUI just in case people are wondering why they aren't getting any responses from him. With such a long thread it would be difficult to find it if you didn't already know where to look.

I would like to thank him for making Civ V a much better experience. Clearly a LOT of work and very clever design, generously offered to the community without any request for payment. I think we should salute that.
 
So I noticed when starting a new game today that my starting warrior doesn't show up in the unit panel. Is that intended or is it a bug?

That's a mod conflict. Remove the mod that replaces Unit panel.lua
 
I've just started using this. A little weird looking, but I'm getting used to it.

I'm having a strange problem garrisoning units. If I build or upgrade the unit in a city, it looks like it won't garrison, whether I use the garrison button or just press F on my keyboard. It looks like it's just sleeping ungarrisoned on the city tile and stays like that.

I think it may be just a visual glitch. The unit list shows it to be garrisoned. The city strength increases. If I restart the game, the same unit looks to be garrisoned properly. Otherwise, it'll continue to look like it's just sleeping. I haven't had a chance yet to see if it activates social policies for garrisoned units.

Great! Thanks a lot, I'll try it out. Do you happen to know much about top panel customization too? I'd like to show total faith and culture and all time but didn't succeed when I tried yesterday.

Edit: I'm having some issues with gold display too. All prices (unit/tile purchasing) show as 6 less gold than they should be, though the tooltip shows the correct value. Picture. Oh and is there a way to get a production counter in the top left box with the food/science etc. in addition to the one in the bottom left?

This has been asked many times. It is showing the DEFICIT, not the price -- in other words, how much more money you need before you can buy the tile.
 
Oh that's embarrasing. I noticed as soon as I loaded up another game.

Edit: All buttons (except for infoaddict) disappeared from the leader interaction screens suddenly though, pretty sure they worked some hours ago after I did all customization but I may remember wrong. Do I need to reinstall EUI and start from scratch?
 
Hello, I apologise if this has been asked and answered but there are two years of posts about this wonderful mod to sift through.

While being overall impressed with what this mod adds to Civ 5, there was one thing that surprised me a bit. It might be simply considered too common knowledge but I still liked it.

I noticed while hovering over silk in the game world in my brand new game that I did not see "Requires Calendar" like it used to show. Is there a way to get this back? I have not yet searched Calendar in my game and cannot create plantations.
 
I don't see air-units in foreign cities. I click on count of unit but don't any happend. When I remove EUI and click on count of air-unit I see what unit have my opponent.
