How to Build Maps?

I'm not really new to Civ... I've kinda played 600+ hours. Anyway. I was wondering how to build maps on Civ BNW? I'm always seeing people upload them and google's never any help - they just recommend "world builder"? When that was ditched a few years ago and not available anymore. Also I use a Mac if that makes any difference. Someone just help.. I've been dying to know how to for ages

I've been trying to figure out how to make your own map from scratch on civ 5. Google doesn't help - desperate!

World Builder is still available. It is part of the free Civ V SDK. Go to your Steam library, click on tools (not software) and scroll down until you see it => install.

I found it but I can't get it on mac -.-
