All my technologies are locked! Can not research

I have already researched some technologies and I receive the notification that I can chose a new technology to research but in the tree all the technologies left are unavailable and locked...very frustrating, I hope someone can help

I'm not sure if it is mod releated but I am playing on the Ice and Fire mod BNW

I've never played the Ice and Fire mod, but the locked tech tree may be a feature. I found this post on Steam. The relevant part states

My final issue with this fantastic mod, is the locked technology tree. I understand that this would not be GoT if we could use musketmen, tanks or aeroplanes but the sudden end point of the locked tree makes not only my science buildings but my entire science production useless. If additional technologies could be put in, that would be fantastic, if only one similar to Future Tech at the end of the normal game (a repeatable tech with stackable bonuses).

So the tech tree may be locked on purpose. If this doesn't solve your problem, you should post in the Ice and Fire thread.
