G-Minor CXXIII

While the general Hall of Fame is an ongoing competition, we like to run time-definite competitions between updates that we call Gauntlets. Standard Hall of Fame rules (*) still apply, but any games meeting the settings will be counted towards the Gauntlet.

The earliest finish date wins, with score as a tiebreaker.

That was fun. Hadn't played a quick match or on ice age. Didn't have a terribly coherent strategy and my conquest was delayed by lack of access to major oceans, but I liked how quickly things moved.

I won at T155, which is by no means a great result, even if not an absolutely terrible one. I ran into some trouble with the Economy, went for Honor (and Exploration) and chose mostly peaceful civilizations as my opponents. I should have researched sea-related technologies faster (that could have improved my finishing turn considerably).

However, my computer decided to crash halfway through - and I hope I followed every single requirement on the crash exception policy. If my submission is excluded, I'll be sorely disappointed.
