The leaderheads for the Colonial Powers look too Arabian. :(
The leaderhead for the King would work. :thumbsup:

But the uniform is from a later era (19. century maybe), therefore it is not the best choice for our mod.

Why do you think it is bad quality ? :confused:

The quality of that leaderhead seems to be quite good.
The leaderhead might be relatively "pure", but it is well animated.

Also the leaderhead does fit to the historical figure of "Baranov".

But maybe we will find a better leaderhead. :dunno:
 
I agree with ray, I also like that LH as Baranov
We used the same art (or something very similar) in Age of Further Discovery for him
 
Btw, so many hungarian LHs as options :)
I can see Kossuth, Rakóczi, and Báthory among the suggestions
Not sure which one would be suited best for Ermak
 
Yeah, I checked, and we used exactly the same LH as Baranov in Age of Discovery
Only the background was different
The LH art kinda works well for him, even if the design is rather plain
Looks similar to the real pictures of Baranov IMO

As I said, there is no need to hurry with decision about LHs for Russia.
Creation of the UnitArtStyles should no be impacted by this.

If you find good leaderheads, we can continue brainstorming. :thumbsup:
We simply need something that fits (quality, atmosphere, historical characters, ...).

Maybe we could also go the other way around. :think:
What are the historical charactes for our LHs ?

Ermak would really be a good choice.
And this LH would really fit to him.

But what about the 2nd one ?
Should it be Baranov or is there a better historical person ?
(Baranov lived 1746–1819, which is quite late.)
 
I think Baranov it a good choice
He was the first governor of Russian Alaska after all
I don't think there is a better candidate to lead the russian colonies in the mod
 
I think Baranov is an appropriate choice. :) He did live late, but then again Russia came very late to the colonization of the Americas. The first Russian settlement was a year after the American WOI had ended.
