Asceticism doesn't work for Mayan Civ

Sorry, have not uploaded a save game due to lots of mods.

Am playing as Mayans and the Asceticism belief (Shrine gives +1 Happiness if you have 3 followers in the city) doesn't work for the replacement Pyramid building this Civ gets instead of Shrines.

Seems to be an unintended bug as it would be unusual to have religious believes that just don't work for some Civs?

I have checked about 6 cities with Pyarmids and 3+ followers and none have the +1 Happiness showing on the building.
