Not-So-Useful leaders, city states, special abilities, traits (and so on)

Unique National Wonder

Area 51:
Increases :c5science: by 50%. Well that's what it would do, if it existed. Which we deny.

Unique National Wonder:

Aperture Science ::
All AI become Sarcastic and want to kill you. Oh wait...

Not-so-useful PART of a UA:
Scourge of God
borrows city names from other Civs.;)

Stupid truth always resisting simplicity.
-John Green

That is useful. The sooner you know Alex is on the other continent, the better. Heaven help you when two civs lose their capital early across the ocean and you end up getting a lot of Indian city names (this happened, Ghandi took over Mongolia ,France, and a good part of Rome...) It's not useful when you can get to everyone anyway, but if people are seperated by ocean, it can actualy be nice. Too bad it's bugged with the "longest. name. ever." achievement (does not give you the achievement when you have the city in this way).

Not so useful religious belief
Celibacy - Cities following this religion no longer grow and slowly decline to 0 pop.

Here are more religious beliefs:

Kosher:
Cannot work truffle or crab tiles and gain no benefits from truffle or crab (even if exported)

Halal:
Cannot work truffle or wine tiles and gain no benefits from truffle or wine (even if exported)

Creationism:
Science output from science buildings, specialists, and academies are halved and the difference is converted to faith

Not - so - useful - leader:

Geert Wilders:

UA: every time you denounce a foreign leader you get +5:c5happy: -10:c5gold:for 1 turn

UU: insulter: doesn't use weapons but words to kill opponents

UI: Walls: impassable for foreigners

UB: barbershop: +1:c5gold:-1:c5unhappy:-1:c5culture: only trick: can make people look blond

Not so useful (revised) Great Wonder: United Nations

1) Civ that builds it may also now build the UU, "UN Peacekeeper" (300:c5production:, strength 50, may not attack, 50% chance of retreat upon being attacked (even if garrisoned in a city, fort, or citadel), 50% chance of surrender (unit is captured))

2) Denouncing any other Civ now creates negative diplomatic influence towards the denouncer (from all other Civs), and positive influence towards the intended target.

3) Allows automatic (one way) open border agreement with every other Civ towards the builder. Espionage becomes much easier against builder as well.

4) CS Jerusalem may no longer ally with any Civ and may be attacked at will (by anyone) with no diplomatic penalties.

5) Diplomatic victory is no longer possible after any Civ builds their first nuke.

Expanding upon the previous not-so-useful:

Not-so-useful unique unit: UN Observer (50 :c5production:)

Starts with the "Security Council Veto" promotion, forbidding it from doing anything where it is stationed after 5 turns of being there.

Not so useful unit:

North Korean missile

Range: 1
Attack: 0
Causes all other civs to denounce you.

Not-so-useful Leader: Muammar Gaddafi
Unique Ability: Everyone is a rat on drugs - whenever a civilization is at war, it gains a 50% attack bonus against Libya if Libya has adopted Autocracy.

I think their UA should be Civil Uprising:

If your people ever become unhappy, all cities get -100% production, and 10 turns later, the game ends, as you have been killed as their leader.

Not so useful UU:

Whiterun Guard: +10 speech while fortified. In effect only after coming into contact with archer/composite bowman. Will notify civ user of past experiences every 5 turns.

Not-so-useful Leader: Glenn Beck - Neo-Conservative Neo-Confederate States of America
Unique Ability: Republican National Convention - Every 10 turns, :c5happy: is reduced by 1. -10% :c5science: and :c5culture: on every tenth turn. -90% :c5influence: from :c5gold: with City-States that are not Jerusalem. Permanently at war with Arabia.
Unique Unit: Patriot Militia (replaces Rifleman) - -50% :c5strength: to all units around it. Has only one-fifth the strength of a normal Rifleman and can spawn randomly on Forest, Jungle, and Hill tiles.
Unique Building: Fox News Affiliate (replaces Broadcast Tower) - -50% :c5culture: and :c5science:, +10% :c5faith:. Cannot spawn Great People in this city when it is built. Religious pressure from foreign religions halved.

Bullring (not-so-useful building)

Cost: 100 :c5production:
Maintenance: 2 :c5gold:
Technology: Trapping
Requires improved cattle
Effect: +2 :c5happy:, +2 :c5unhappy:, -1 :c5food: from cattle

Not-so-useful social policy (under the Order tree):

One-child policy

Effect: converts excess :c5food: into :c5unhappy:

Not-so-useful tile resource: mammoth

Resource value: +5 :c5food:, +3 :c5culture:, +3 :c5faith:

Goes extinct 3800 BC

Not-So-Great Social Policy: The Great Leap Forward
Tree: Order

Effects:
Halves the amount of :c5citizen: in each city, but :c5unhappy: per citizen is doubled. All strategic resources will only produce half the resources from this point on. Gain 100 :c5gold: upon selecting this policy.
