How would Obama and Romney approach a game of CIV?

Obama and Romney would play so politically correct for votes it would be boring.

:hatsoff::clap:
Hilarious Remmert :D!

Obama would just press "pass turn" without actually doing anything, leaving building queues empty, and units without moving, all while the gold reserves kept spiralling downwards and the unhappiness levels keeps being on negative. The slogan of his new campaign would be "four more turns without doing anything because senate obstruction". Civilization veterans would scratch their heads, wondering if they are playing Civilization 2 again.

Rommey in the other hand would start a war in Iran or some random Middle East country. After spending all the gold of the treasury into rushbuying military units, the enemy is turned into a ball of melt crystal, but the unhappiness levels would be far too high due to occupation. However, Rommey would conclude that the cause from unhappiness would be "too much goverment" and therefore proceed to cede American cities to other civilizations.

Meanliwhile, China archieves a space race victory in both scenarios :p

Romney would sink 500+ hours into CivV while in office and ignore the 47%.

Haha!! Romney would probably spend even more time "practicing" without even actually loading the game so as to be sure that every move was "perfect"...

Romney would say :

Obama will sell our lux, sell all of the commerce buildings, defense buildings, and GPT. With the money he'll fund hospitals, broadcast towers, monuments, and turtle for a culture VC. Lot of happiness, lot of growth, but no money to pay for it all and leaving us at Atillas mercy!

Obama would say :

Romney will starve cities, build units we don't need, generate a ton of great merchants and gift them to Sweden, sell our lux, give gpt to India and China for workers to build improvements in India and China, focus the tech tree on the bottom military branch, and will annex cities CS without building courthouses.

The reality is :

Obama wouldn't play CiV as he prefers IV. When not playing IV he spends his time in the rants thread telling people its ok that they like the simplified V. He also thinks Steam is just another example of big business without proper controls. Some in the IV community are concerned about Obamas "evolving" thoughts on V and are starting to wonder if he ever truly understood the Pyramids-Representation strategy.

Romney is Civ Rev only (its the future!) and doesn't understand why Firaxis wasn't good enough to get absorbed by EA. Doesn't really care about Steam, but thinks that if people are buying it, whats the problem ? He'll also change his mind on Rev the minute the Iphone version has six figure downloads. He never claimed to understand the Traditions 4 Cities opener, but he sold the hell out of it in his signature.

As soon as America had nukes, Obama and Romney would give as many as many as possible to Jerusalem.

And if Persia dared to so much as work one uranium resource, America would denounce Persia and mobilize massive military force all around Persia's borders.

Then if Jerusalem launched an unprovoked attack against Persia, America would say that Persia started it and would fight the war for Jerusalem so that Jerusalem's "precious" units don't get killed.

they would be killing all the commies and the terrorsits because they both AMERICANS who believe in Jesus and you always win with Jesus

Good question OP, since they both work for the MIC and Goldman Sachs...

I have no idea really.

I doubt there will ever be a VC with 'killing all the commies' and while the barbs may represent terrorist getting rid of those isn't a guaranteed victory either.
And what comes to the actual elections unless there's been a radical change in rules only one will elected for presidency so 50% of the candidates will lose with Jesus. In Florida this may be different and they may pass the voting and/or counting the votes altogether as a distortion of democracy.

What they'll do in game is another thing. Romney would use a tax cut -mod for units & cities to fund themselves and slowly disintegrating the city structure which was built early in the game. This would include the conquered city states. Faith would be infinite and it would mainly used for missionaries which would collect money for purposes unknown. Exploring would be neglegted since we don't care for others as long there'll be someone few techs behind that can be bombed especially if there's oil resources nearby.
Obama would do some scouting to realize that there actually are other civilizations which can be traded and have diplomatic relations with. He'd also found a resource uranium after which comes a thought that perhaps there is an option of not crossing other culture borders just because there's oil.
It's hard to see Romney go anything else but a domination VC while Obama would've a chance with science, too.

How do you think the two would handle playing separate games of CIV playing as America? Any wars, wonders, social policies, or diplomacy they would embrace?

THIS is a totally random, funny, and pointless post... no need for heated feelings!:crazyeye:

Obama would choose the order tree, I know that. Then he'd bow down to every civ on the map. Romney on the other hand would keep a well trained military. H emight just play defensely though, protecting his allies. I doubt he'd be a huge warmonger. But who knows, like Obama he does flip flop.

Romney would use cheats only, the only way to live for him is ****ing the other ones

People who trash one particular candidate, instead of properly slandering and demeaning them both, are doing it wrong.
