Ultimate Package for ToT

Hi to all and happy New Year!
Can you advise me, please: what one should install to have a maximum bug-free, improved and enjoyable experience in Test of Time? I've found the brilliant ToT Patch Project, but maybe there are some additional mods that can make ToT gameplay even more satisfying? I don't look for changes or user-made content, just for improvement as far "purist" as possible.

I really like Catfish's graphics modpack that (IMO) improves the graphics -- units, cities, terrain -- a lot. The units and terrain are much clearer and brighter than those that come standard with the game. You can get his graphics modpack here: http://users.tpg.com.au/jpwbeest/jp_miscgraphics.htm .

The only thing missing is unit animation, so if you love animated units, this modpack won't be for you. I prefer the graphics and don't miss the animation. (The terrain animation is still functional, though.)
