Does anyone else that plays Orbis experience crashes?

It seems that when I play the Orbis mod every now and then, ill get a crash. It not like every 5 turns, but it can happen sometimes every like 20-30 turns and sometimes not at all. Just wondering if anyone else also gets crashes when playing the Orbis mod. I tried setting my auto save to save every turn to make this a little more bearable, but it always seem to save two-three turns back.

it's been a long time since I played Orbis.
At least I didn't try since changing to win-8 ... so I can't help.

but before that (1.5-2 years) I didn't have any problem.

I have windows 10 right now. Maybe that is the cause.

edit: I had a friend try it out today and he too crashed around turn 70. He was using windows 8.
