Steam - Windows 10 - Changing graphics settings crashes the game

Changing graphics settings crashes the game.

The game doesn't detect that my system power is any good, setting everything to Low and the resolution becomes relatively low too.

After upping antialialisng to 16, the game even crashed while loading the engine - before the game even made it to the intro videos.

Can someone help me?

I have no experience with that combo (Steam & Windows 10). However, on some systems going the other way with antialiasing, setting it to 0, lets the game run and allows higher graphics settings, when antialiasing set higher causes trouble. You might try that.

Alright, I'll keep the antialiasing nonexistant. But just changing the screen resolution crashes the game. Any suggestions how to fix that?

I have the same problem as the OP, but discovered that changing the resolution directl in the .ini files works.
Still unable to change the resolution in-game, but it's not like I change it everyday, so that works for me.

Definitely going to try that out. Will report back.
