The Comanche Rider does not offer a significant advantage over the regular cavalry, so it feels like The Shoshone only have one UU.
The Cossack does offer a significant improvement over the regular cavalry because the 33% is very helpful. It's easy to weaken enemy units with artillery and finish them off with Cossacks.

Chu's always been solid even since vanilla. Come at a great time in the tech tree and rack up experience extremely quickly.

Hoplites have decent combat strength for how early you can get them, but that is about all they have going for them. No interesting promotions to carry over on upgrades, and they will become obsolete before you can realistically use them on higher difficulties.

While Cho-Ku-Nu's are more efficient in mincing enemies, the low ranged attack and 2-tile range make it less survivable than the Longbowman. Not by much but when you get to the point of a dozen or so core highly promoted units, even the loss of one of them is painful.

Panzer- Too late to make a difference. They are good units, but come way too late.

The Conqustador is one of the only reasons to play as Spain. The ability to found cities is amazing.

Turtle Ship 18 I think I have all ready stated that I love being able to use this for Turtling and making my high science producing cities from being vulnerable to my enemies navies, and I can even snipe capitals. I think the shallow water thing is an important balancing factor that doesn't make it so you conquer the world with them. Just go up to navigation with that high science production as Korea, and you can explore.

Not like they would have lasted to the end either way, but thread is a little wonky with names disappearing randomly and confusion over how much exactly is getting added or subtracted.

Great Galleass: How has this not been down-voted yet? Extremely situational base unit and a bit extra strength isn't helping to change that role.

Ellyphants: We know what the top 5 will roughly be, and these guys won't make it in unfortunately, but they are a great unit and deserve to stick around longer than most of these others. The lost of movement can be ignored when you are rocking 25 strength and bonus against other mounted. Allows these beasts to trample over enemy bows and knights with ease. They even stand up against pikes fairly well considering they take the bonus damage.

Conquistador is a superb unit, that really lets you make the most of the Spanish UA.
Kris Swordsman is there solely for the novelty factor. Truely uninspiring.
 
Had a lot of fun with these back in the day. Don't expect very solid results from this, though, since I'd guess most of the top players won't vote. Still, excited to see Pathfinder crack top 5 status.

Plus, no barb camps or maps from ruins.

Being able to just, effortlessly pulverize a city with just a handful of units is absolutely awesome, and if the AI could figure out how to actually use these, the Huns would be an absolute nightmare early-game to go against. Combine these with the effective unit clearing capability of the Horse Archer and they make for such an excellent super-early conquest rush.

It's barely even unique, the slightly higher strength is going to matter so little since navies aren't a serious thing early-game, and against cities they won't do anything more noticeable than the same amount of Triremes. I think it should be made into a genericized Classical-era upgrade for the Trireme, and Carthage be given a UB in its place.

I won't even try to save the Quinquereme... firstly, I know it isn't a very good UU. The best part of it is that, because of the big combat strenght, it can last longer against barbs, which sometimes is a problem when you are exploring the seas with triremes and the seas are filled with the Galleys. W. Hussar: I love it. Fast and powerful, starts with Shock I, has +3 combat strenght and a great promotion that kicks people away. This is the best of the 3 Lancer Ponies

Hakka: Pretty sucky. Only good thing it does is that it carries the Generals a bit faster. Stil, by then you'd have roads, I guess... I dislike it a lot. Useless, IMO. The worse of the 3 Lancer Ponies. I do like the Sipahis, though.

The Quinqureme is quite useless. There are rarely naval battles pre frigate. THe Quinquereme has been ELIMINATED.

The Kris Swordsman is quite helpful. Usually the promos are really helpful.
