I was reading a bit on this, but i cannot trust wiki as a source, therefore i decided to ask here:

According to the wiki articles, in the 9th century (eg in the first half of it, which mostly interests me for the Amorian Dynasty), the overall military divisions were as follows, from largest to smallest:

1) Thema (up to 12.000?)

2) Tourma (up to 3000?)

3) Moira (?)

4) Bandon (up to 400?)

Also would ideally like fat-checking about the actual -usual, standard- numbers in each one of those, specifically in the 9th century. Afaik different Themata had different numbers of troops- makes sense- but i am asking for the standard number in the organised armies.
Thanks for any help :)
