Issue with Adding CityArtStyles
I'm trying to add unique cityartstyles by GeoModder, which I obtained through the "Neo-teric World" Mod, to my mod's civilizations. However, even though the shape of the city buildings appear fine, the city buildings themselves appear pink.
I copied all the files in the mod's art/structures/cities folder into my mod, I copied over the Civ4CityLSystem.xml file, I added all the artsyletypes in GlobalTypes.xml, and I gave each civ an artstyle in Civ4CivilizationInfos.xml. The only exception is the Russian cities. They somehow turned out fine. I'd very much appreciate any help. I've been driven to my wit's end on this, searching across the forum for an answer, and I haven't been able to find one. |

if the buildings have their desired shape but are pink then the texture is missing.
if the buildings are pink blobs then the path in the xml to the nif is wrong

Are the textures in a different folder than structures/cities? Would the xml references be in the Civ4CityLSystem file? Last edited by Marechal Lannes; May 12, 2012 at 08:05 AM. |

You might want to have a look around for other possible files, e.g. stuff in the Art\shared folder (if present), or in possible .fpk files in the Assets folder (if present). |

A lot of the .dds files are in the shared folder.
