Could you please post the saves in question? Also, were these saves created after the patch was released, or before? Thanks.

I figured out it was that darned ingame clock.

I had a similar problem with saves not loading - got a visual c++ error

For me, the fix was to either play with Steam offline - or to enable the Steam cloud feature

Same issue here but not using ingame clock and can't run steam offline since we want to do multiplayer.
