wow! looks great, as usual, FramedArchitect! :D
I'll make sure to have a look at it when I have time~

[also, shouldn't this be in the scenario subforum? I'll run it by a mod]

I've tried playing this only once so far on immortal/iroquois and I just can't get past 3 cities. I launched a sneak attack on Richmond and took it but the AI just spams Dragoons everywhere killing my natives :/ Nice Scenario though

I really should give some indication of the difficulty of each faction for King difficulty. I would say America is generally easy, England is moderately easy, and Iroquois is just plain hard (and maybe impossible on Deity).

The only way I have won as Iroquois was to snipe non-coastal cities that England AI is attacking. I also managed by luck a few times to capture Euro cannon with Mohawks, again generally by sniping in areas where Euros often battle it out (camp a few Mohawks north of Philly). The policy that grants Muskets for markets is also invaluable. I lost a few times even after capturing required cities because I couldn't build Capital quickly enough. :/

I should also add that you can sometimes snipe Canadian cities recently conquered by America AI (higher difficulties), or at lease capture a few weakened American units.

Just wondering where the French are. After all, they won it for you.;)

The French (and the Spanish and Dutch) are non-playable helper civs that are at permanent war with the English. Each of the helper civs are occasionally granted units. French units spawn in the greatest number and frequency, always near the American capital, and can often turn the tide of battle. They can also take cities, which contributes to the American victory condition.

Now I have been asked why I didn't include the French as a playable civ here, and my first response is kinda like....aren't 3 civs and 5 leaders enough? ^^ But the real reason is that I just couldn't find a Victory condition for the French that was attainable, fit easily with other civ victories, and was fun. I'm open to adding the French as playable civ, but only if a really strong proposal were made.

Perhaps the french Victory could be taking back what was lost during the French-indian war? (Canada) and destroy X amount of British ships?

I think a focus on naval battles is a nice idea, which is absent from the mod right now because England absolutely dominates the seas. Taking back Canada is a condition I had for the French in an early version of the mod (the Spanish and Dutch were playable as well). But French conquest victory basically limits the United States to a "survival" victory, which I find boring and tedious.

Now I have gotten all kinds of comments about implementing a "survival" victory, mostly for my Civil War scenario, but what this entails is a lot of lua code to generate units to throw at the human player. Given that defense is ludicrously easy in CiV anyhow, this just doesn't pass the fun test.

Now, I have a decent first draft of a new scenario called "Conquest of the New World" (more exploration and expansion than extermination!) from which I pulled most of the content for this mod. That scenario includes all the major Euro powers, including France, and I think I will include the Naval supremacy idea into that mod. Thanks for the idea!

Hi there!
I have a problem with my pioneers. I cant do anything with them, they just dont have the buttons, to improve tiles. If they automated, they just go into cities and skip turns forever. Any ideas?

Thanks for the report! I think this may be related to playing in language other than english. I've tested this and for me pioneers work just fine. I recommend playing under english localization for now.

I think the localization issue is finally solved, and the mod is now tested under Korean, Japanese, German and French (the only languages I can navigate in), and should be functional under all the rest. Apologies to all non-english players for the very long delay in making this mod fully accessible.

In the mod it says pioneers are the american replacement for workers.

Are they not supposed to be able to make improvements?

Yes, Pioneers can build all worker improvements. If this is not the case for you, I know you are not using English, German, or Korean localizations. I would be interested to know which language you have installed so I can drill down to the issue.

I play the game in english with the non-international english setting on my language and regions in control panel.

I downloaded the mod by subscribing in the steam workshop

Hey I have downloaded your mod but I am having an issue while playing it. It shows up on my mods list and I can start the game, but on the first turn when I try to choose production the game won't let me pick any buildings or units to produce... If there is any way you could help me it would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance!
