In order to promote the general peace and prosperity the French Empire and the Kingdom of Siam hereby come together to sign the document to be known as the Treaty of Bangkok which will guarantee and establish formally beneficial and cooperative relations between both states. Their safety as French nationals will be guaranteed and enforced by the King of Siam, his court, and all servants thereof

-Advisers will be dispatched from His Imperial Majesty's government to the court of the King of Siam to assist in the modernization of Siam's economy and the improvement of the well-being of its people

-The French Empire will assist the Kingdom of Siam in modernizing its army and navy

We will agree to not endanger your possession of Puerto Rico but will not guarantee it from foreign or domestic aggression unless you are willing to enter into a much more extensive bilateral military agreement.

Alternatively we would be willing to allow Spanish ships to use American mainland naval bases on both the Atlantic and Pacific coasts in exchange for the American use of Spanish naval bases in the Philippines, Africa, and continental Europe. This would make operations in the Caribbean easier for Spain should it need to contest foreign aggression in Puerto Rico.

Add a clause stating that our navies may make use of one-another’s mainland naval bases and we would be quite willing to sign this agreement.

The Treaty of Mandalay
The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, and the Kingdom of Burma, hereby agree to hold these precepts as the basis for relations between these states and their governments henceforth, and hold its tenets as a binding contract with regards to relations henceforth.
