In order to promote the general peace and prosperity the French Empire and the Kingdom of Siam hereby come together to sign the document to be known as the Treaty of Bangkok which will guarantee and establish formally beneficial and cooperative relations between both states. Their safety as French nationals will be guaranteed and enforced by the King of Siam, his court, and all servants thereof

-Advisers will be dispatched from His Imperial Majesty's government to the court of the King of Siam to assist in the modernization of Siam's economy and the improvement of the well-being of its people

-The French Empire will assist the Kingdom of Siam in modernizing its army and navy
