Cotton grew in America (probably even before men first set foot on it) and had been domesticized by some Indian peoples for a long time before the arrival of Europeans. You're right about sugar and bananas though
Ahh opps, just read up on it. I didn't know Cotton was also invented in a second area independent of Asia, in Peru. Thanks for the heads up.
