Now, I've rambled on a bit, but the show must go on. So here goes.
4000 BC, the coast of a mostly unknown landmass. A small tribe of about a thousand is being addressed by its leader.
Olaf: We have wandered for thousands of years. You all know the lands around here - they are plentiful, we have never wanted. But never have we had so much plenty as at this very spot. I propose we settle here. I have consulted the shamans, and they agree - the RNG deity has willed it so. My people, can you lead your nation? Will we build a civilisation to stand the test of time?
The People: Yes!
Olaf: Then we shall settle in place.
The People: Settle in place?
Olaf: *Sigh* Sit down on the ground, and you'll vanish and become a load of buildings.
The People: Well... okay, then.
Narrator: And so begins the story of Wellitawadam DC. What will they achieve, I wonder?
Olaf: Hey, who said that? Am I going mad? Am I hearing the voice of Sid? Who's there?
Narrator:*Sigh* Never mind.
Olaf: Yep, I'm going mad.
