This is no different from communism though, communism was only so bad because of the people running it. In Slovakia, we also have a horrible government, just like we did during the communist times, but what has undoubtedly noticeably changed is the quality of life. Everything in Slovakia improved tremendously after we switched to capitalism, even despite the multiple corrupt governments.

Also, all of our corrupt governments have had former communists in charge. We've had two good governments, and neither of them was ever involved with communism.

Any chance this thread is ever going to get even slightly back on topic?
