province borders redesign

It a discussion we talked about redesigning some of our province-borders. Especially the provinces with foreign cities will gain a bit of land. Since there was no negative comment i asked the domestic department and our presidential office to post an official poll. Since nothing happened till then, i now put up the poll myself.

Here is the proposal for you to vote about.

This poll will be up for 4 days and if accepted will immidiately be implemented.

What changed?
1) water-squares:
expand the borders to inland seas, bays. also take more ocean-squares in the borders.
2) asphinxia(4):
* expand sw to greek borderline
* expand east till hills in kashmir. this mountain range will be the kashmir/asphinxia border
* expand to the middle of the istar/new cormyr/asphinxia inland sea
* expand in the china-bay to line up the water-border to china and ameri
* take away a small patch from the sw to give it to new-cormyr
3) new-cormyr(5):
* expand a bit into the ocean for realistic borderline
* take a small patch south of the inland sea away from asphinxia
4) kashmir (6):
* join provinces 6+10 to form a new kashmir province
* expand borderlines into the water area a bit
* take back border to asphinxia. the mountain-range is now the borderline.
5) istar and normandy (1+2):
* expand borderlines into the water area a bit
6) ameri (3):
* expand to the middle of the china bay
* expand borderlines into the water area a bit
7) province 8 (8):
* align province east border with new-cormyr border
* expand borderlines into the water area a bit
8) province 9 (9):
* a small long patch of land taken away to give it to 8
* expand borderlines into the water area a bit
* still to discuss: east borderline+border with 7
9) province 7 (7):
* expand borderlines into the water area a bit
* still to discuss: south borderline+border with 9

I vote yes and urge that this proposal be put into effect for the upcoming term.

what should be the next steps though. is citizenry-approval enough or is a cabinet-vote needed for changing borders?
i think citizen decission should be enough and so this will be finished and active for the next term.

Cabinet vote is needed, per the current Constitution. I'm happy to sponsor this for a Council Vote as it obviously has great citizen approval.

The Council Vote has been posted. It already has 4 of 4 respondents in favor. I'll use this poll for the At-Large (citizen) vote as soon as it closes. This proposal is a done deal.

One proposal, disorganizer, if it's not too late.

It seems unreasonable for the forest west of New York be part of Normandy, when it's our citizens actually working it. The citizens of New York have expressed their concern to me and I, with the approval of crabapple, propose that forest officially becomes Ameri's.

I will open a proposal-thread after the redesign now is approved.
The next revision of our borders could include this request.
I think its too late for the proposal up now to change, since 21 citizens already voted.
