Chieftain
I've looked around the forums, but I didn't really see anything that addresses MP etiquette for CivRev, so I thought I'd start a thread.
I'm new to the Civilization universe, and my only other foray into Sid Meier games was Pirates!, which I also really liked.
I had an MP game last night and, during the first few turns, I came across a group of Settlers that were free-ranging without any kind of escort. I captured and settled them, and then immediately saw two of the MP players "leave" the game. So my question is this: is there some unwritten rule that no one should attack or capture another MP player's settlers at the start of a game? Did I break some unspoken cardinal rule of MP gaming in CivRiv when I captured those settlers?
Expanding on this, are there any rules of MP CivRev etiquette that I should be aware of?
Thanks.
