I've been running Civ II MGE on Windows Vista patched with the patches available in the sticky notes, but it stopped working recently after I applied the recommended Windows updates to Vista. Now every time I try to resize the windows within the game (e.g., the 3 main windows: the map, the units screen, the clickable world map), my Civ II program crashes. I can resize the three windows in a normal game, but I can't resize them in a loaded game or new game using a premade world. So I'm stuck with the default-sized windows! Whenever I try to resize the windows, the Civ II process throws the following exception:

Can anyone help me fix what Windows Vista must have broken with its latest updates?

The only solid lead I could dig up is related to Apple's iCloud. Do you have iCloud installed?

Yes, I do have iCloud installed. I don't use it. Would you suggest uninstalling it?

Yes, try uninstalling it. From what I've read that should make the crashes go away.
