Trying to figure out the dynamics of how the system determines a winner of the game when time runs out. In my last game, I was leading in three categories, but losing in Domination. Time ran out, and I took 3rd place. Only thing I could figure is that it looks at the category which is closest to being completed? Or, is there some underlying score based on all categories that I can't see?

How can't you win by 2100?!

This comment is not at all helpful is answering the question.

That said, if time runs out, the civ's are ranked according to whoever is closest to winning a domination victory. (So whoever has the most palaces, failing that, the largest military.)

Well the comment wasn't meant to answer the question, it was asking another question that I'm seriously wondering...
