Aerial View

In a diffrent thread I saw that one of the patches for Civ3 gets rid of the areial view. I really liked the aerial view (I liked to see what was going on in my cities). Even though I know it is just "eye candy" I would like to see it back in Civ4. Any comments?

The patches for CIV 3 did not get rid of the areial view. When Conquests was released, they did not do the graphics for the new wonders and improvements that were introduced to the game so they are not represented in the view. But, I believe it is still there.

The aerial view sucks anyway. If they improve it it's a neat feature, but now it's just a few scattered houses and your improvements. If you take a look at your metropolis you wanna see, well, a metropolis...

the ariel view only works in the main game, not in the conquests or scenarios
