Just got the batch file working. When I select a date it keeps taking me to 1945 as new scenario. Don't know what is wrong. Everything works fine. Any ideas ? Thank you John Boc

Everything is working fine except can't chose date for start. Keeps going to 1945

Hi John,
Are you referring to the batch file taking you to 1945? Or the civilization executable?

The batch file just opens 1 file and whatever year you select it only starts with 1945 from all the 10 choices you have.

Are you running Windows 7 or 8 64 bit? This can cause problems with old batch files.

Running Windows 7 32 bit with patch to run civ2 gold multiplayer. All other scenarios I have work fine and so does the main game. Thanks for responding. Really puzzled by this.
