Advisor Level in multiplayer

Hey guys,

Any way to enable the advisor level in a multiplayer match so they pop up telling you how to play the game as you're playing? Its an available option but its greyed out in multiplayer. My dad wants to play but he needs the guidance pop ups. Any way to edit the game files to allow it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
