This is a recurring problem for us. It seems as though the game is having trouble assigning starting positions for human players and computer opponents.
This is a game we attempted this evening. After the first human player built Washington, the game went OOS. We reloaded from the resynch and the second human player had moved starting positions. We played for a few more turns but the Hittites(one of the computer opponents) did not build a city. I have attached the first two saves.
I loaded both saves as a single player and used Powerbar to view the maps, the French had been moved in the second save and the Hittites were nowhere to be found.
We both un-installed all Civ games this evening and re-installed hoping this would help with some of the problems we have been having. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
