I have understand why there is this weird effect, I have said "(And maybe this is a bug, I have made many modifications and maybe it is not this way the god-mode should working ? I never play it before). " and it my fault. I have add some promotions (ducal wing for atreides thopters) and don't write them in the end of the list in promotioninfos and even if the game work fine for all other thing, there is a problem in god-emperor mode. I try to move my new promotion in the end of the list and then all "target weakest" are replace by "lead by warlord" which seem far more playable and make more sens if it is really the good one.

So this is my fault I don't notice the warning "<!-- The order cannot be changed and no entry in the list can be removed. --><!-- But values can be tweaked and new entries can be added at the end of the list. -->" in the begin of the file

But this can make me able to do a large scale test of the effect of target weaken :lol:
 
You know what I'd really like to see in one of these modmods?

Actual coast and ocean tiles that appear in deep desert as you terraform.

But this appears to be inactive now, so oh well.
 
Mars now has such functionality.
 
Whoa, why are people saying the revival's 'dead'?

Give it some time. A couple of weeks is way too brief a pause to declare inactivity. People have lives, and coding changes takes time.

Besides, this modmod is already fairly well balanced with few issues I could see. So *if* Mr. M. dissapears from the face of... Arrakis, it's still a worthy play. That said, I hope he's out there still working on improvements - I'm interested to see what comes next.

I Translated it in French, Patch fr can be downloaded here. password : revival
For few texts (hardcoded in DLL for example), I had to overwrite the English text. otherwise, it's prepared for multilingual (by adding all the needed TXT_KEY...)
 
An unexpected and pleasant surprise. I took a quick look at it and I could tell that you did a lot of work. I hope you took advantage of some sun during the french summer!
Some day I will try to transfer the text lines in C++ and python to the xml text files. I never expected someone to translate the game into other languages and organizing the texts can be really tedious.
Very impressive and thank you. You should make a new thread for the patch, btw.

Ok, since Version 1.01 has no business existing and there's a couple of issues, a new version is coming soon.

For example:
- Two new leaders: Idaho and Waff
- Miles Teg Breeding Project and Miles Teg Hero Unit for Bene Gesserit
- Unique specialists like the war prisioner no longer buffed by the specialist boosting civics
- Atreides Intelligence now working properly
- Bug related to the promo bonus on slave captures corrected
- Bug alerts now working
- Message/estimation related to whip overflow is now corrected and more accurate than ever (no need to enter city screen)
- Stoneburner can inflict the temporary Partially Blind promo
- Various tweaks for the sake of balance

A version 1.06 has been uploaded to ModDB here - the description isn't different to 1.05 so I guess the changes are minor.

On the source code, it is up to Mr. M if he wants to release it.

I've made a bunch of art, sound and music improvements locally which I'll share when I'm done.
