team games with spain - gold bonus shared?

I noticed playing a team game as spain, when I or my teammate found a natural wonder, the 500 gold bonus was split between us.. seems like an odd decision, or bug? I certainly don't gain any benefit from other civs UA's, so why would the gold bonus be shared like that.. bad enough that the great wall affects both teammates.

Its been like that for a while sadly - if its a MP game just trade all the gold to one person. Great Wall's benefit in team games is why in MP its normally agreed (on team games) that no one is allowed to build it
