The reason I reposted the article here was more out of a desire to highlight the part relevant to "barbarians" and explanations for the demise of the WRE than to bring, er, accusations against certain British academics. If you want me to replace it with an edited version to leave things out, I'd be happy to do so.
The Great Migration Period is something one have to really understand before going about examining all of the other different barbarians that were involved in the utter destruction of the western part of the Roman Empire, and the late Han Dynasty.
