Mouse freezes/vanishes

Ever since the first patch (which resolved a few provlems) I have been able to play right up until the pointer freezes, leaving only the keyboard to move about with, which is extremely awkward. So, after closing the game I find that the pointer has completely vanished and no mouse movement solves anything. The only solution is to reboot. I will have to reboot at least 6-8 times an hour. My mouse is an optical but I have also tried a normal mouse with the same results.

I would appreciate it immensely if some one could help solve this.

I also have this problem now, but it's occasional and only happens with Warlords. Never happened on vanilla before. I am using an optical mouse. Can anyone provide a clue on why this might be happening? Will this be fixed?
