HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!
I downloaded 1.61 for civ 4 and it says "no previous version of civilistaion 4 detected." what did i do wrong

what version of Civ4 do you have? i.e. CD standalone, Gold Edition, Complete Edition, Ultimate Edition, a download one (if yes from which company)?

I have gold edition, what do you mean by which company i.e. 2k firax or windows

gold edition is patched to date - the patches don't work but also are unnecessary
