I´ve finally decided to spend some time not playing civ but to make my first scenario.

As i´m a big fan of warhammer what a better start than to do a scenario based on the old world.

I´m thinking to include 3 tribes: Empire, Greenskins, Undead.

Perhaps i could divide the Undead into Vampire Counts and Khemri.

i already have a vast array of units and i include some to view: a reiksguard, an orcs bigún, a troll and a vampire.

Any comments would be appreciated:cool:

Wow, there certainly are a lot of people working on Warhammer scenarios! I hope we see some good stuff come out of it :) [the unit stats should be easy to make]

Ho Ho, far from it matey...

Well i´m working now on the unit stats and i´m using the numbers from the army books, but it isn´t easy. We have: weapon skill, balistic skill, strengh, toughness, wounds and attacks.

I hope to post soon my proposal on how to use the combination of all this factors, for example: the attack might be represented by the sum of the weapon/balistic skill plus the strengh, and the defence could be the sum of the weapon/balistic skill and toughness.

I´m still working on these but i hope that all of you can help me in solving this problem.

As for the units design, my base for work is the computer game warhammer dark omen.

sounds awesome:D Mordhiem and I are in the making of a Warhammer 40000 scenario depicting the struggle for Armageddon between the Orcs and Humans. I would enjoy helping you if you would like but if you dont then thats ok too.

I honestly think that you should include a few more tribes like dwarfs, high elves, chaos and lizard men. It would add a few more fun elements to the scenario and I could help you with the stats b/c i have the entire unit compendium.

You can have 7 civs plus barbs in Civ 2 and you're only going with 3 races! This is foolhardy! I realise that it'll be tough to make enough specialised units for each race, but you really should include Dwarves, Elves and Skaven. You could make the Barbs the Chaos armies although this might make them a bit strong.
Humans, Orcs/Goblins/General green things, Undead. Elves, Dwarves, Skaven is 6 races, and although you'd be pushed to represent all 4 of the Chaotic gods in the barbs, you can have barb raiders as chaotic cultists or something. The fanatic icon wouldn't need too many changes! :goodjob:
Are you planning to have the characteristics of the races reflected in the game? For example, the orcs wouldn't be able to build a boat any more complex than the trireme (unless they bribed/stole one) whereas the humans and elves would be swanning around in speedy sailing vessels while the dwarf ironclads would be really expensive to build and very slow but incredibly strong. Like Civ2 battleships but with only 3 movement or so. Here are some ideas, but they may be a bit complex and unsuited to Civ. :(:D

we´ll for now i only have units for those 3 tribes, and i´m also including hero units. if i was to use the full 7 tribes (that would be cool!), the number of units for each race would be smaller and i would have to stick to the most important ones.

For now i´m still thinking on this but i´ll let you know.

As for the other races, unfortunately i don´t have their status. I only have the orcs and goblins and vampire count army books, so if someone could send me the satus sheet of the others i would thank you.

HELP IS WELCOME!!!!:)

Here i send my idea for the status of some units...feedback is welcomed.

I am currently working on an Empire Vs Vampire counts Vs Orcs scenario, I am done with mst of the artistic part. Though I got hold of the latest armybooks for the empire and the counts, I find building a characteristic tech-tree for the undead a bit frustrating. let's say they start with the liber mortis (the original "book of the dead" is ancient Egyptian ofcourse). What then? Any hints?

Hi Pena,

Nice that someone (and it seems quite a few) have started converting the Warhammer universe to Civ2. Excellent.

I think your units look ok, but maybe you should sharpen them a bit so they don't look so blurry. Else good job. :goodjob:

Legions have you started a thread about that scenario? As I am more into WH40000 I would like to see what you are creating.

Best Regards
