Resource Settings

I'm trying to test out how expansion differs between the civs and I'm curious about the Legendary Start and Abundant resource settings in the advanced menu. Do they just maximize the dice rolls on what you could have, making each test even(ish), or is it just a cheat setting that will give you more than what you could ever have normally?

They are very much different.

All Abundant does is take standard resource script and multiplies the quantities of strategic resources by 1.5X. That's it.

Legendary: Starts with the standard script; but then adds enough luxaries of the primary type within 12 hexes to trade a copy each to the world and also adds a few more bonus resource tiles within 3 hexes.

Not a cheat as the AI also gets it.

If you play OCC it's cheat.
