I haven't had a stealth bomber intercepted often. It seems that you run out of towns to capture after the one more turn.

I can't remember one being lost to interception either. They still take damage (from ground fire, I guess) but once you get air repair...oh, my oh my.

I haven't had one blown out of the air but once they get into the yellow I rest and repair them if they don't have in air repair.

But you know, the AI never seems to use interception well anyway, so who knows...

They used intercept last game I played. Air sweeps turned into a bunch of dog fights, it was cool. But yeah they mostly seem to rely on AA guns for air defense.
