civ rev on ds not displaying odds

Hi all. I bought civilization revolution for the ds and noticed that it does not display the combat odds when I go to move my unit over another. For example I take my warrior then I scroll over the barbarian camp and at the top all it says is 1st warrior attack:2, Basic Attack:1 Veteran +50% Warlord +50% then to the right of that it just says Barbarian. Isnt it supposed to show the barbarians defense rating???

Please if anyone can offer some assistance it would be very appreciative


Oh, BTW this is on the nintendo ds-i if that matters

The DS version doesn't show the opponent's stats unless your unit has a particular promotion.

And it doesn't matter that it is a DSi. The game is just the same.

It's one of the very few minor discrepancies between the DS and the larger console versions.

one major discrepancy is the settler only adding some food on the consoles but 1 pop on the DS, due to lack of patches.

Yes, but that's a result of using an essentially unpatchable system. We DS players are stuck, if you will, with the original unpatched version.

I get combat odds on the DS for units outside a city but only when I stand next to them. Odds for combat with units inside a city only after the ranger upgrade iirc.
