This game is a bit special because it features a new concept of continuing previous quick games. It's based on the winning submission from Quick Game 18. Thanks to Redbad for supplying the save for this game. ;)

The Game
Now that the Timurids have established an economy to be reckoned with, the war with the Arabs as well as omany other factors have made it clear that taking territory from friends or enemies will be neccesary if the empire is to triumph.
The king consults his wise men who have envisioned a powerful weapon able to vanquish the enemies of Timur. All they need to do to get on the right path is the knowledge of physics. So the king promises to acquire this knowledge as fast as possible, whether it will be by research, trade or extortion.

The Objective
The objective of the game is to acquire the technology of Physics as fast as possible. Tie-breaks are resolved by who has the largest science output, not counting scientists, at the winning date. For this purpose the science slider must be at the highest possible % without having a negative income.
Any further nitpicky questions about whether cities can be in civil disorder etc. will result in score reductions depending on my mood. :p

Rules:
The rules are the standard rules we use in the COTM competition.

btw - I do have a Q:

do you mean our sliders have to be set so we aren't losing money? or do you mean that we can't have our sliders set so we can't lose so much money that we will lose a building next turn? ie: is -1 with 20 gold ok?

No, the slider % rule only applies to the resolving of tie-breaks and then only on the last turn.
