I get boxed in a lot of times on standard settings, and I like Persia a lot. What is a good earlier war strat that I could do to fight? Normally, I'd wait for Artillery.

The premier war techs are Chariots, X-bows, Artillery, Knights (Not 100% sure on this one being on the power level), bombers, etc.
You could try Compbow rush I guess? I'm more of a MP person and play quite peaceful in SP, so not sure if those techs are relevant at Immortal/Deity.

Two city comp bow rush! Upgrade 6 or so archers and go to work. I have a failed attempt in my India LP but it should highlight how it would work against a normal, non-Shaka AI.

OCC or 2-city rush with archers/CBs, spearmen/horses.
The most important thing is deciding your angles of approach, and their likely angles of reinforcement, I'd say.

yeah the 2 city CB rush is an extremely potent solution. I do it with Liberty opening so I don't lose momentum with settlers
