Anyone else unable to move units or issue any commands in MP post-patch?

My friend and I have been trying to play post-patch. When the game loads neither of us can issue movement commands or settle our first city. We can still scroll and select our units.

We've both verified game caches and can play in single player. We have also tried different combinations of options with quick move on and off and just not sure what the problem is.

Anyone else experiencing similar issues? :(

Edit: Oops, meant to put this in technical support. Slide me on over, The_J?

Not for me yet. Turns are much faster(less lag) due to quick movement option probably.

Quick movement have always been ON in Civ 5 MP. The patch added so you can turn it OFF.

The only problem so far is that the AI still cant interact with you in MP. Two years now and this haven't been fixed.
Great work Firaxis, great work.

You probably have, but have you rebooted the computer/s?

If you have a turn 0 hang, try this:

1. Open up your config.ini (My Documents/My Games/Sid Meier's Civilization V/)
2. Look for the following line: EnableGameCoreThreading = 1
3. Change it to: EnableGameCoreThreading = 0

Thanks, and let me know.
