RFC DoC Crashing when playing new game

Now bare with me, as I have never successfully ran a manually installed mod before.

I've downloaded the file for RFC DoC and extracted (with winRAR) it into my mods folder of my Beyond the Sword file, and I can open it without crashing, but when I actually select a civilization to play, an error message pops up and says it has stopped working and forces itself to close.

I am running Beyond the Sword 3.19 (hopefully that's how you do it)

I attached my system information in case it is needed.

Edit: I've figured it out, I've been opening it from the wrong location.
