Riddle of Ages: Travelling Through History

The founding of the Knights Hospitaller?

No.

Islands they land, islands they take
Islands they ruled and which they sate
Alone or with hired hands they fight
Always with their brotherhood in sight

The Holy Land on which they battle
Ridding with other men of the saddle
Ruling others from top to down
Wearing many different crowns.

Again this is a process. Think more "Establishment of Aryans in India" than "Fall of Constantinople"

Meh, I'd say Malta? Or WW2 Japan?

Meh, I don't think so. Not many Aragonese crusaders that I remember. In fact, the one launched by the great Jaume (James) II was a complete failure (the fleet didn't hold lines and sailed back before reaching Mallorca)

The Kingdom of Jerusalem?

Twas many small but merry bands
Charging through the beach and sands
Conquering both north and south
Fighting in the holy lands
No.

Spoiler :
From the north these men came
Settling in the land of Franks
Breeding with the local Dames
Still ready to ransack banks

Ok, I made it really simple now. :(

EDIT: Spoilered for those who want to keep trying.

The Normans and everything about them?
