Currently im test playing China on Large map/Warlord dif./Marathon and 6 civs and what I see is that units are soo cheap. My 3 biggest cities can spam 2-3 best units in turn. After few turns I have huuuge army and everything start slowing down. But for more I mostly need that amount of units because city and fort defenses are very strong.
I know this subject was grinded in past but I think we still need re-think unit costs, strength and defense.
Size matters is the partial answer to this problem and as we know this option has some troubles too.
