Peaceful End to Civil Unrest in Sight
His Imperial Majesty in his wisdom and out of his bountiful love for his people has according to most recent reports negotiated a peaceful solution to the civil unrest along the border with the northern regions. This peaceful resolution, compared to the brutal civil wars, and the harsh crackdowns on revolts from other regimes shows the majesty of Tenno Heika and his sublime serenity and concern for the wellbeing of his people and for the continued peace of the nation.
Details of the deal are sketchy, but reports indicate that the Emperor in an act of unparalleled mercy has granted a universal amnesty to those involved, including to their leaders in the understanding that they were cruelly and maliciously misled in their concerns by subversive forces on the peninsula, and out of his fervent desire to ensure harmony in Yamato.
Further developments shall become clearer in time.
Naval Developments
The Beareau of Military Affairs has commissioned a new navy to replace the outdated pre-trollocaust relics that remain in Yamato's posession. This naval plan includes the development of a new capital ship, the HMV Yamato with all the latest advances in Yamato military technology, and a contingent of transport and fuel ships in order to increase the mobility of the Yamato Defence Forces.
