Main points: They are researching HBR so we'l have War elephants and catapults available soon and they suggest that after construction we'll hand them gold so that Civil service could be researched as fast as possible. Theie expenses are approximately the same as our income. This sounds good plan to me.

I had a very intresting conversation with Memphus. Instead of running for HBR and Civil service they would like to take a shot at Music and assume to get it in 7 turns. I like the idea, even if it involves mainly techs that we don't need and it delays HBR and Civil service. They requested our opinion before they play their turn. Please let me know as soon as possible, if you object the idea.

I also offered Calendar to Memphus for 10 gold that we need turn after this one.

What happend is kaz dropped a new forward city.
If the get Music and Bomb that city, we are cooked, they can split us and run through our empire
however we know they are beign complacent about music because no one is close, we assume they are getting feud or machinery
so we foudn a way to turn our empire upside down and get poly, aesthetics, literatur and music in 7 turns
but kaz will only see us get poly, 3 turns before we get music, so they can't switch and go fast enough.
the flip side is, if we bomb our front city, kaz is split and they will be impaired and out of the game.
the MM behind it is kinda crazy....

Won't Kaz get to Music before we even have a shot at it?

Seems interesting anyway. I'd prefer to go for the military techs rather than additional extras, but whatever works for SANCTA I guess. :)
 
They've a plan to get it before Kazs in 7 turns form this turn. This all is based on assumption that Kazs are researching something else currently since they don't feel Music to be threatened. I don't know how can they generate enough beakers, but I guess they know what they are doing.
 
I sent this to Memohus. Unless someone objects I'll approve their plan in ~6 hours.

I'll send you our answer later today. So far no big objections has come up although these techs are not that useful to us currently.

More good news though. With more MM when we are doen these 4 techs we think we can get CS in 3 turns So really that is only a ~2 turn delay from before!!

For sure that is understood.

The inherent Benfit for your team though, is we go research crazy (see previous pm) and with the ability to get CS in 3 turns, you can see we invest crazy in our research ability!

The longer term benefit is that with KAz out of the way we can dedicate some production to you guys!

Also With calendar I scaled the map and extrapolated. it would take MS ~15 turns to march to you guys. So our chariot should be out htere before they can get to you!

Okay, good to see SANCTA have some decent plans in place.

I agree with DMOC - the #1 most useful thing we can do at this point is to strengthen our defences to prevent ourselves getting killed. ;)

So with +94 next turn and then +17 the turn after (0% then 70% for you guys) we found a way to ake it.

Mind you 2 turns our we have to run like 7 of our cities on wealth, we can make it happen (by 2 beakers) so it is very tight! We actually can just do it with 111 from you guys! We tried it the other way around (+17 then +94 and it doesn't work )

either way thank you team once again, and expect a new tech every turn for the next 4 turns

btw. We could suggest SANCTA that we'll specialize our economies so that we'll mainly concentrate on building gold multiplier buildings whereas they concentrate on science muiltiplier buildings. We would be running with 0% and they as close as opssible 100%. This would save quite a bit of production. What do you think?
