new to computers

Hi I will be buying my first laptop for school soon. I would like to be able to run civ v on it. my budget is about 700$ I could maybe stretch it to 8. I don't understand the minimum specs but I was looking at this one.

The specs look good, at least on paper.

I'm a bit concerned that the graphics chip might be a it to power-hungry for a 14" model.
It might get quite hot and/or loud while gaming, and slow down significantly to keep from overheating.

You should look up reviews or other customers comments before buying, and this is a good idea in general.

Ok, I didn't think of that maybe an external cooler would help.
