Agent 007? Or just a glitch?

Not sure if this is supposed to happen, but apparently one of my spies took to thinking he was James Bond. The background info (or would that be the debriefing?) is that, playing as Greece at around 3,300 B.C. on the Blitzkrieg scenario,I let a spy that I won from the barbarians go blundering into Tripoli, and-as he had nothing else worthwhile to do- had him steal some gold, expecting to get the measly 5-10 gold that is the norm (at least for me). Well, he ended up stealing a bit more than that. More specifically, he stole an amount to the tune of 17,368 gold, precisely. Am I the only one that has encountered this? There is also the rather interesting fact that they had modern infantry during this time period, and they had at least 2 of them (which eliminates the Knight's Templar artifact as a possibility). Well, I'd like to hear if any of y'all have had similar experiences. 007, Over and Out
