BtS not running

I installed Beyond the Sword. I ran the discs, and followed all the on-screen prompts.

But... it's not loading! Only the vanilla install is loading!

If it helps, I'm on Windows Vista, and I saved my vanilla install to a folder other than Program Files, so I could edit the XML files to make my own mods. Could that be the problem?

EDIT: Ok, I kept fiddling around, and I realized that I'm supposed to use the BtS launch application to get BtS going.

So, I start to see the BtS load screen, but as it's loading all the files it needs, it stops almost immediately and says "Failed initializing Python."

Any suggestions?

Nope. I got the BtS discs as a package deal when I bought the GOTY Edition on Ebay.

You need to install the game as per my thread.

Ok, how do I uninstall BtS so I can re-install it? I don't see an "uninstall" application in the BtS folder.

Program and features in control panel, like you do for all other uninstalls.
