stuttery graphics?

I'm playing game and the world view graphics as it moves around is very jumpy, almost like playing an FPS on an underpowered PC. Battle graphics are smooth, but many of the UI screens are affected too. It even seems to miss button presses.

I'm thinking its because there are too many units in play, or maybe its a side effect of the no-otheros update.

I saved and reloaded and it still happened, although it went away on its own for a few turns.

Have you tried cleaning the disc? Useally works for me.

I think the problem was the number of units in play. I was the Germans and was cranking out units, and so were my opponents. I've played a couple of games since and haven't had any issues.
